Joe is originally from Kentucky. He moved to Alabama in 2011. He and his wife, Cindy, have a blended family with 7 children. They also have 5 grandchildren. During his 4 years in college, he worked in the security field. After college, he taught 6th grade for 3 years, while also working on his master’s degree. After completing his education, he spent more than two decades as a pastor. While serving as a pastor he oversaw the construction of several million-dollar projects, dozens of smaller projects, and hundreds of community activities. Joe was Director of Security here at Greystone for 2 years and moved into his current position as Director of Community Managment in January of 2021.
