Genevieve comes to us from “The Club” and was recently hired to Greystone Golf and Country Club for the position of Catering Manager. She grew up in Homewood and graduated from Homewood High School in 2013. From there she received her Hospitality Management degree, with minors in business and sustainability, from Auburn University in 2018. There she took an active part in Auburn’s CMAA chapter and found her passion for the club environment. She interned at The Master’s Golf Tournament in 2018, as well as received her Introductory Sommelier status from The Court of Master Sommeliers. While there, she worked at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center. After graduation, Genevieve was hired by the Biltmore Estate to work at Cedric’s Tavern as a supervisor and banquet captain. While there she oversaw staffing, food and beverage purchases, catering events and so much more. After moving to Charlotte, she worked at 131-Main until like so many things, the pandemic and her mother made her leave the hospitality industry. She is delighted to be back in the profession of her degree and excited to bring her talents to Greystone Golf and Country Club.
